About the Conference
NAVISSANCE 2010 is the annual National Technical Conference organized by the Department of Mechanical Engineering of Vidya Academy of Science & Technology (VAST). The main themes of the conference are alternative energy and energy efficient technologies.
Objectives of the Conference
- To emphasize the role of renewable energy in India;
- to identify challenges and possible solutions in the field;
- to provide a common platform to share ideas and inventions; and
- to inspire engineers to moniter and practise emerging trends in the field.
Venue
The venue of the conference will be Vidya Academy of Science & Technology (VAST) campus at Thalakkottukara. Please refer to the Contact page to know more about the location of the institute.
Dates
The conference will be held on the 19th and 20th November, 2010.
How to Participate
Particpation in the conference can be done in various capacities. Whether you are a student, an academician, a researcher, an industry person or just an interested member of the public, you can participate or witness the events that come within NAVISSANCE. If you are interested to participate in any of our events (details given in the event page), you need to register for the conference.
Registration
Registration of the delegates may be made in advance by filling in a registration form accompanied by a demand draft in favour of Navissance - 2010, Vidya Academy of Science & Technology payable at Thrissur on any scheduled bank.
Registration Fees
- Student: Rs 100/-
- Academic faculty/IEI member: Rs 200/-
- Industrial participant/any other delegate: Rs 500/-
